About Jerry Kilby
For most of his working life, Jerry Kilby has held several senior management roles in the golf industry, including Marketing Manager of the PGA, General Manager of Nad Al Sheba Club, Dubai, Chief Executive Officer of the Club Managers Association of Europe and most recently, General Manager of Bramley Golf Club and Woodcote Park Golf Clubs in Surrey.
Jerry has had numerous articles published in golf trade publications and presented at conferences, workshops and seminars on various golf club management subject, and not only does he believe that golf clubs can improve the way that they market their membership choices to golfers, but he has proved that growth can be achieved with better marketing, not once, but with four golf clubs, and generated significant membership growth at all four clubs.
He believes that many of the problems that golf clubs have experienced may well be caused by poor decision-making in the past, so the importance for all organisations in golf to have a robust and transparent governance structure is vital.
Having travelled the world in recent years, his network of golf industry colleagues is unrivalled and he uses this network continuously to improve his knowledge, learn new ideas and understand better how technology and other innovations can improve golf clubs and the wider golf industry in the years to come.
